Gravity Hamilton | Gym Tour
Join us as we take our gym tour to Hamilton to visit the famous Gravity! Boasting five bouldering areas totalling about 210 ft of bouldering terrain, a 2016 moonboard, training equipment, and just over 80 different top rope and lead routes to try!
P.S. This place is tall, with routes average 45'.
Film Premiere | Everest Dark
Toronto Climbing Club is proud to co-present the screening of Everest Dark at the Planet In Focus International Environmental Film Festival. This event includes a post-screening Q&A with director Jereme Watt and Producer Merit Jensen Carr.
Mount Everest is known for its heroic expedition tales dating back to the days of Sir Edmund Hillary, but in recent years it has developed a more treacherous reputation. An overlooked part of this story is the Nepalese guides who risk their lives daily to help climbers safely navigate their ascent. Everest Dark tells the story of Mingma Tsiri Sherpa, revered as a national hero in Nepal for leading numerous rescue missions. After nearly retiring from climbing, Mingma undertakes a mission to recover a body from Everest’s slopes, so it can be returned home and restore balance to the mountain gods.
Directed by award-winning Canadian documentarian Jereme Watt and produced by Oscar-nominated Ina Finchman and veteran producer Merit Jensen Carr, the film’s stunning cinematography captures the grandeur and unforgiving terrain of Mingma’s trek. He and his team must navigate extreme weather, impossibly steep slopes, and deep ice crevasses in order to accomplish their impossibly dangerous mission.
Aspire Whitby | Gym Tour

For those attending the BBQ, tickets will be available for a suggested donation of $15-20 to cover the event costs and support the TCC as we continue to grow this awesome community.
Joe Rockheads | Gym Tour
Joe Rockhead's is Canada's first indoor rock climbing gym, located near Liberty Village, Toronto. The gym has served as a central hub for the city's climbing community since opening in 1990 and welcomes climbers of all skill levels. And TCC is making its way to Joe’s for the September Gym Tour!
Like all our gym tours, this is not a guided event, but an opportunity to come out and meet other TCC members and explore a new gym and walls! Joe’s offers belay tests to all climbers, but lead tests will depend on staff availability.
